MK Dons v Leyton Orient pt.2

Well spotted John. I did indeed forget to mention Purches' goal in my
rush to get to bed.

I don't remember much about the build up other than Purches suddenly
found himself with a tiny amount of room on the edge of the box and
let go with what seemed a purely optimistic shot as there was no real
pace on it, but then I had a sudden realisation that although it was
almost in slow motion, it was placed perfectly in the corner and I
could see the keeper wasn't going to get there so I was up and
celebrating before it hit the back of the net. A nice finish from the
captain, not too disimilar to his (only?) other goal.

The other point I forgot to mention last night, and the one that
annoyed me the most was the car park steward who told me that there
was no other parking available other than the official one for £5. I
was skeptical of this having quickly checked the MK website before I
came out and when I challenged him, he was adamant that although there
were lots of stores like Asda and IKEA, I would get clamped. I told
him either he or their website was wrong before leaving him to con the
next punter. Needless to say, there is no problem parking anywhere
else as the stores stay open until 10pm. With that in mind, I couldn't
see how they could justify the £5!!!
